While we are proud to note that Fontana Village Resort is entirely sold out to us for Miatas at the Gap this year, there are still other lodgings available in the area if you still have not found a place to stay for the weekend. We have a list compiled on our website at https://gapmiatas.com/Lodging. Also be sure to check for the array of AirBnB and VBRO options in the area.

Fontana Village is still awaiting confirmations from those who had reseverations for MATG XXIV (2020). If you want to keep your reservation for XXV (2021), you have one week left to confirm. Fontana will begin taking new reservations for MATG XXV on October 1st.
Make sure to call in as soon as possible!
Though Miatas at the Gap this year set records for attendees, it may have set another record. Several times during the weekend, cars could be found with hoods up or even up on lifts for emergency field repairs. Though most keep up with regular maintenance, hood-up moments and shade-tree escapades will probably become more common as the age of the fleet continues to surpass the age of its youngest drivers.

Alex Todd is returning with SNS Mazda Parts this year. He always brings an excellent selection of used replacement parts as well as some rare and imported pieces. He should be well-stocked for this year! Be sure you make time to wander through the SNS Mazda Parts booth and check out all the cool items for your Miata.

We’re all proud of the rides we bring to Miatas at the Gap. Some of us have even had to bring their OTM’s. Either way, we’re just glad to see everyone come back year after year. It’s the people that make Miatas at the Gap what it is, after all!
That said: there are some of us who are attached enough to our cars that we’ve given them names. The Tick is Bryan Wyatt’s 2002 Laser Blue which is a little bit harlequin after its unfortunate 2017 shunt. Thanks to various members of the Miata community, Bryan and The Tick were able to attend The Tick’s 10th MATG event in 2018 and will be making it to this year’s event. If you happen to see Bryan, ask about signing The Tick’s (currently) white fender!
