94 days remaining until MATG XXI!

There are only 94 more days until MATG 2017!

I’d like to take a minute to let everyone know of an incident that occurred this weekend up on the Dragon. An accident occurred between a driver unable to control their vehicle, and an ambulance on a call. This caused an injured motorcyclist to wait for a second ambulance to be dispatched, delaying care in an area where response times are already long due to remoteness.

This likely will cause an increased presence by law enforcement officers and further elevation of an already heightened awareness.

Let it be known, that if I receive a picture of any MATG attendee crossing the double yellow, causing an accident, or driving beyond their ability, the pictures will be widely spread and shared throughout social media and on the MATG website. Consider this fair warning. I have spoken with several of the photographers in the area and have consent to share their images for this purpose.

As a final reminder, these are public roads, not a closed private racetrack. Do NOT drive near or beyond your limits, because you never know what’s around the next corner.
